Learn an Invaluable Service at St. Augustine School of Medical Assistants
by Chris Pearson
The courses and vocational programs is evident with the many university and post-secondary education programs available online. Employers recognize the assets of completing certificated classes through the internet. St. Augustine’s School of Medical Assistants is an online program allowing at-home mothers, part-time students and workers the chance to increase their earning power, knowledge of the medical field and self-confidence at work with an MA certificate.
Medical Assisting, according to the US Department of Labor suggests that MA careers is one of the fastest growing in the employment sector, expected to continue growth through 2016. While the job market expands, competition amongst doctors’ groups for qualified personnel is also increasing.
St. Augustine School of Medical Assistants has followed this trend with their Medical Assistant Distance Education (e-Learning) program, where graduates continue onwards to become Medical Assistants for doctors offices, laboratories and hospitals.
The highlights of the St. Augustine Medical Assistant program:
A MA Certificate can be granted in as few as 6-8 weeks;
Students take courses at their own pace;
St. Augustine’s is currently offering a 53% discount with course enrollment – you pay just $645.00 dollars for the entire course, not the regular cost of $1,215.00; and an ease of payment.
St. Augustine offers students the chance to work in the same environment that attending a 2 year MA program would require – their site includes an online “Virtual Phlebotomy Lab (Collecting a Blood Sample), Virtual Injection Lab , Medication injections, Measuring A Pulse, Introduction to CPR and Basic Ultrasound.”
St. Augustine Educational Services is a good deal in this time of increased job crunch. As one successful MA course participant states, "…This is a wonderful program. My thanks to those at St. Augustine for understanding that not everyone has the time or resources to attend a traditional educational program or college.” For new career seekers, a medical assistant certificate can lead to a job that pays between $21,000.00 and $31,000 annually to start.
A certificate today from a school like St. Augustine School of Medical Assistants is an asset. Put your administrative skills from college or part-time work – typing, recordkeeping, transcription, accounting and scheduling – to use in a rewarding medical field where you can learn to be a professional online.

A More Practical Generation
A More Practical Generation
The new generation is becoming more and more practical these days. They know that if they would be practical, it would be easier to land on a job after graduation. I think it’s also because they are aware of the increasing demands for other areas of education like medical assistant courses and other undergraduate courses. But, there are still a lot of them who go for what they like, and basically, most of those are the kids who can afford. But, some are simply taking up their courses because it’s what they dream to become. I think it’s also one of the parent’s responsibilities to educate their kids of the significance of the courses they are planning to take and what are the possible options and opportunities awaits them in the future. If you’ll ask me, If you can’t afford it just yet, I think a medical assistant career is more practical than instead of not sending your kid to school yet and wait til you have money. And definitely more practical than borrowing money and getting into bad debts just to send your kid to a proper medical or engineering school. Check out some medical assistant schools in your place. It might be the better option for now. You can read the entire article at:

Leaving to Become a Medical Assistant
My second cousin Rachel is now enrolled in an online medical assistant school. She used to work in an office, but a friend offered her the chance to work abroad for a much higher compensation than what she is getting now. That is why she took up medical assistant training. She looked for an online school to get her certificate. She told me that online schools are better than traditional schools because she has more flexibility with her schedules. She still has time to look after her three kids and her husband. It's a good thing they live with her parents. Her dad, being retired now, helps in looking after the little ones while the adults are at work, or in her case, studying online.Rachel told me that her friend was working as a medical assistant in a Middle Eastern country. She said that her friend was offering her a position there. I told her not to hesitate and just grab the opportunity with both hands. It's not often that the chance to work abroad comes without having to pay a mini-fortune to a recruitment agency.Her choice to be a medical assistant puzzled me at first. Most people here are studying to be nurses, it is the popular choice. But being a medical assistant, as I read online, is a good option for her. Medical assistants are also healthcare professionals who perform administrative and clinical tasks to keep the offices of other health practitioners running smoothly. The demand for them is on the rise too. And the best thing about her online medical assistant school is that she will earn her certificate in 6 or 8 weeks! That's a very short period of time to wait. Nursing schools usually take at least 2 years to finish.I wished my cousin well in her new job, and promised that I will drop in from time to time on her kids and parents to see how they are doing.
